It’s now official and I’m well happy to announce the news… My debut solo album “Future Is Yours” will be released in 2009 on Horizons Music. The work is well under way and I’m very pleased about where things are headed at…

As a little tease of what is to come I’ve contributed a track called “Shady” for the Internal Affairs compilation CD which will be out on Horizons in January. The track features the vocal talents of Stapleton MC and you can listen to it on the dubplate section at Horizons now - www.horizonsmusic.co.uk. Also look out for the Horizons cover CD coming soon in Knowledge Magazine. Stay tuned as we’ll keep bringing you more bits and pieces from the album as time goes by..

The A side of this release kicks off with a collaboration between the two producers, resulting in disturbing atmospherics that gradually evolve in to a heavy, broken-beat driven winterlike vibe, not much different of what you might expect a tough winter to be in Finland or Russia. Crazy unexpected industrial-tinted sound design and filtering add hot spice to the mix so you won’t be left stonecold on the dancefloor.

BFAD007B: Resound - Silver Sky

The flipside, Resound’s ‘Silver Sky’, is much more of a roller poised for heavy damage in the dancefloor: Heavily gated breaking beats and a subtle vocoded voice introduce a deep, rough bassline that shows its truly menacing sub bass characteristics in the break: the bass starts raving, the beat drops while the masses are dancing.

Trapped at home recovering from a bad ass fever… To kill time I decided to put together a little portfolio of selected works of mine from the past 10 years or so. Came out to be 30 songs organized under 3 folders or “albums” including tons of previously unheard material that has been sitting on my hard drives for years.

There are seven songs included from the japanese video game “C21″ soundtrack which I wrote in 2005.  Also included are still unreleased bits “Part Human” and “Fall” from the forthcoming album Burning Shadows as well as other material forthcoming in 2009.  Few lost little gems from back in the day as well such as a never released collaboration with Mentz of Tokyo Dawn…

The Burning Shadows remix competition is finally finished… We ended up with about 60 remixes of “Typecast”, a wide variety of different vibes. We were well pleased to have so many good remixes to choose from.
